Mandatory attendance for Viva Assessment

Day 3: At IAGES SOUTH ASIA SUMMIT @ KATHMANDU, NEPAL, 01.02.25

Mandatory attendance of all academic sessions in Hall 1 from 8 am to 6 pm including MCQ test

Day 4: CONVOCATION @ IAGES SOUTH ASIA SUMMIT @ KATHMANDU, NEPAL, 02.02.25

The exact time of the Viva and MCQ assessment during the conference will be notified closer to the event and all successful candidates who are already members of IAGES will be able to receive his/her FALS HERNIA Fellowship certificate during the Convocation Ceremony ( One-Stop Concept) to be held on the 2nd Feb 2025 from 10am onwards

Examination category:

• MCQ assessment: 100 questions/100 marks
• Viva assessment: 100 marks (10 marks for logbook)

Non-Examination category:

• Attendance to online modules and all 3 days in Kathmandu
• Informal interview on 31.01.25 at conference venue, Kathmandu
• All Eligibility criteria are met

1. What is unique about the Course, conference, and convocation combo?

This would be a unique opportunity for the delegates. Unlike before, registered delegates have to travel to the fellowship course destination (Kathmandu, Nepal) only once wherein they will be able to complete their course and return home with a convocation certificate within 3 days of the academic feast at IAGES SOUTH ASIA SUMMIT IN NEPAL

2. Will this hybrid fellowship course model be the same as the conventional 3-day structured IAGES Fellowship courses?

Essentially yes. The structure and intensity of the course would be as it used to be in the conventional onsite model. Here in a hybrid model, many lectures will be covered as online webinars on the 26TH JAN 2025. Then hands-on simulation and live session will be held in Conference venue on 31st Jan 2025 from 2pm to 6pm along with assessment sessions. Attendance to all 3 days of IAGES South Asia Summit is mandatory and covers all the required topics. Finally, you will attend the convocation on 2nd Feb 2025 10am after the successful completion of the MCQ and Viva assessment

3. How much time and money could we save on taking this combo offer?

One-Stop fellowship course will save you significant time and money. Moreover, you have the benefit of attending the IAGES South Asia International Summit in the same package!

4. When and how will I receive the fellowship certificates?

IAGES fellowship convocation is planned on 2nd Feb 2024 and you could also receive all your fellowship certificates from previous courses in addition to the Current Combo course certificate.

5. Is it possible to attend with spot registration?

No. you need to register early as we have limited the seats to 100 in FIAGES and 75 in FALS Hernia. The last date for registration is 25.01.25 and so please hurry and book your spot!

6. Is it possible to simultaneously take FIAGES with FALS HERNIA fellowship course?

No. It is not possible. You can select any one of the 2 fellowship courses only as a One-stop Fellowship course
